Organized according to record type. Arrangement is somewhat chronological. The materials in this collection are from a scrapbook containing primarily information related to river transportation in Kentucky. Compiled by Gratz, Kentucky druggist, William R. Minish, the scrapbook contains bills of landing and receipts for goods shipped by steamer (1833-1895); several lists of landing points on the Kentucky River; lists of steamboats on the Kentucky River (1820-1873); annual reports of the chief of the Army Corps of Engineers; and a pamphlet entitled AMERICA'S WONDERFUL CLIFF REGION, which describes the Kentucky River canyon. Miscellaneous material includes clippings about Kentucky poet and artist, Robert Burns Wilson, broadsides, photographs, and printed matter.
